Decision trail

Decision date 30/05/2023 · Reference ↗

The largest supplier of contact lenses in Russia, Johnson & Johnson, has sent notices to opticians about the suspension of imports. The reason was the decision of the US Department of Industry and Trade to add lenses to the list of goods prohibited for deliveries to Russia. At the same time, the share of Johnson & Johnson in the Russian lens market reaches 70%. In addition to its own products, the company is a supplier of American brands Acuvue Oasys and Acuvue True Eyes.
