The winery, which is under Pitt's control by a French court decision, continues to sell its wines in Russia. The Russian distributor of Miraval is AST-International Environment, which was previously part of Telman Ismailov's business empire. After the closure of the Cherkizovsky market, Ismailov lost most of his assets, but retained ties to the alcohol business.
