The shareholders of the Duracell battery manufacturer have decided to withdraw from the Russian market. Before exiting the Russian market, the company will sell off the remaining stock of goods and settle with employees. Exported goods to Russia at least till Feb-2023 - https://squeezingputin.com/support.html Duracell will return to Russia under a new name. Sales of Opticell batteries have begun in Russia. The brand should occupy the niche of the departed Duracell and Energizer. In August 2023, it was reported that Opticell is a subsidiary of Duracell, but the Ministry of Industry and Trade denied this information, stating that the brands are not related in any way. At the same time, Impulse LLC (owns the Opticell brand) is headed by Yuri Korotaev, who headed Duracell Russia till August 08, 2023. But main legal entity LLC "DURACELL RUSSIA" (tax id 7743101227) continues to operate in Russia, eventhough its revenue dropped more than 2x times in 2023 vs 2022.
