German drill manufacturer Gühring KG announced withdrawal from Russia, but supplies of its production continued. The US imposed sanctions on three companies that were the subject of The Insider's investigations: OOO Instrumentalnaya Kompaniya Gut — formerly OOO Gühring, a wholly owned subsidiary of the German company Gühring KG, which produces high-precision drills and metal cutters. It announced its withdrawal from the Russian market after the start of the war, but, according to The Insider's investigation, continued to supply its products for the needs of the Russian military-industrial complex.
