Banned Russian and Belarusian riders and teams FIF sanctioned events. The FIM will continue to prohibit Russian and Belarusian riders from taking part in races under its oversight for the forseeable future. Such a decision was reached after the FIM Board of Directors. Russian and Belarusian riders will remain unable to take part in FIM-sanctioned events through at least the start of the 2024 racing seasons. The sanctioning body confirmed the decision after the Board of Directors met on 29/30 November followed by the FIM General Assembly last Friday, both in Liverpool ahead of the 2023 FIM Awards.
