Against the backdrop of Western oil equipment suppliers leaving the Russian market, the Chinese corporation is trying to take their place. Kerui has been operating in Russia since 1999, but began to significantly increase its presence in 2014, after the first bans on the supply of Western oil and gas equipment were introduced. In April 2015, Kerui even announced its readiness to start supplying equipment to the annexed Crimea. After Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Kerui's deliveries to Russia increased 8.5 times. Moreover, in the fall of 2022, the official representative of Kerui in the Russian Federation, Rus-KR LLC, and Gazprom Drilling LLC signed a cooperation and strategic partnership agreement. 06.2024: Internal transfer.
