In 2019, the American chip manufacturer ON Semiconductor bought Quantenna Communications for $1 billion, and since this year, the legal entity of the new owner - ON Semiconductor Connectivity Solutions, Inc. - has been a 100-percent founder of the Russian "Quantenna Communications".

Received revenues in Russia in 2021-2022, there is no any official announcement. ON Semiconductor's annual report on Form 10-K filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) indicates that in September 2022 the company decided to completely wind down the division represented by the legacy of Quantenna Communications. As part of this plan, in October 2022, the work of the design center in Russia, as well as in Australia, was terminated, the document says. High speed CMOS octal bus buffer manufactured by ON Semiconductor. 27.02.2024: The legal entity QUANTENNA COMMUNICATIONS was liquidated.
