Turkmenistan Airlines Resumes Regular Flights To Russia's Kazan Airport From Ashgabat. Turkmenistan Airlines reported that it has suspended flights to Moscow since August 1, 2023 “due to the air situation in the Moscow air zone, as well as on the basis of a risk assessment in order to ensuring flight safety”. All flights will be operated on a different route: Ashgabat - Kazan - Ashgabat. Turkmenistan Airlines has suspended flights to Moscow for a month. The restrictions were introduced from December 30, 2024 to January 31, 2025 and apply to flights on the Ashgabat-Moscow-Ashgabat route. Turkmenistan temporary to suspend regular flights to Moscow from June 1, 2025.
