Adnoc tipped to buy Russian stake in Serbian oil refinery. Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is expected to take a significant minority stake in Serbian oil company Naftna industrija Srbije (NIS) as part of a deal to acquire Russian Gazprom Neft’s holding, Serbia’s energy ministry said on February 5, 2026.

According to Kpler, for the first time this year, LUKOIL shipped low-sulfur oil from its Caspian fields to the Emirati ADNOC refinery in Ruwais. This is the second such delivery to the refinery of the Emirati company.
