Operations suspended

In December 2012, 100% of the shares of the Investment Joint Stock Commercial Bank "Akyl", which was established on 08/01/1994 and received a license from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic for banking operations No. 030 dated 10/30/1995, was acquired by a new shareholder, a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic . The shareholder decided to develop the Bank, provide banking services to the population and legal entities under the CapitalBank brand. The Bank plans to develop as a universal financial institution. At present, the Bank has established correspondent relations with major banks in Russia and Kazakhstan. The Bank aims to expand the network of counterparty banks.

Kompanion Bank reported that the reason was sanctions; Finca bank stopped issuing and sending currency transfers (in dollars and euros), but kept ruble ones; RSK Bank and Bank of Asia stopped dollar payments, and "Capital Bank" - any.
