Línea Aérea Conviasa is a Venezuelan airline with its headquarters on the grounds of Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, Venezuela, near Caracas. It is the flag carrier and largest airline of Venezuela, operating services to domestic destinations and to destinations in the Caribbean and South America.

"Aeroflot" and the airline Conviasa (Venezuela) signed a memorandum on the expansion of air communication with the countries of the Caribbean basin at PMEF-2023. On June 18, 2023 Conviasa will start regular flights Caracas — Havana — Moscow on Airbus A340-200 wide-body airliners. Aeroflot, in turn, will start regular flights to Varadero (Cuba) from July 1, 2023. Venezuelan airline Conviasa has announced the suspension of its flight operations between Russia and Cuba, with the final service scheduled from Moscow to Caracas via Havana set for April 28. The news was shared by the Association of Russian Tour Operators (ATOR) via its official Telegram channel.
