Decision trail

Decision date 18/07/2025 · Reference ↗

Suspended new business in Russia and Belarus. Dassault Aviation, the major French aerospace and defense manufacturer known for jet fighters like the Rafale and Mirage, remains indirectly tied to Russia through its long-time board member Henri Édouard Proglio, who also serves as chairman of the audit committee. Despite Dassault officially supplying military equipment to Ukraine, Proglio owns and runs three Russian companies (Henri Proglio Consulting LLC, AP Energy Advisory LLC, Mezhproject LLC) that generated over 600 million rubles in revenue since the start of the war. He continues to travel to Moscow regularly and holds a director position at ABR Management, a firm widely understood to manage assets linked to Russian elites. This creates a potential conflict of interest between Dassault’s public stance and its indirect financial ties to Russian entities.
