After February 24, 2022, Global Spirits revoked licenses for the production and distribution of products on the Russian market. Russian factories, where its products were previously produced, are now producing alcohol under new brands adapted for Russia. The IT systems belonging to the previous owners were locked down. According to the SBU materials, alcohol magnate Yevgeny Chernyak has been charged with suspicion - the Security Service of Ukraine. The Russian Prosecutor General's Office demanded that the assets of the alcohol holding Global Spirits, which before the war in Ukraine produced the popular vodka brands Khortytsya, Morosha and Pervak in the country, be transferred to state ownership. The Leninsky District Court of Kursk satisfied the administrative claim of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation to convert the assets of the Global Spirits alcohol holding (vodka brands Khortitsa, Pervak and Shustov), owned by Ukrainian businessman Evgeniy Chernyak, into state income.
