After blogger Skirmantas Malinauskas published photos of Kalnapilis-Tauro Group products in a Russian store in early September 2024, representatives of the manufacturer said they were conducting an internal investigation. They say they suspect that Polish and Romanian companies resold this product to the Russian importer.

Termination of export ties and production in Russian market. In response to an inquiry, Marius Valdas Kirstukas, CEO of Kalnapilis-Tauro Group, stated that the company will not export to the markets of Russia and Belarus from March 2022. According to him, the company has also informed trading partners about such a restriction. However, Kirstukas M.V. did not hide that in 2022-2023, the company received signals about the appearance of the product on the shelves of Russian stores. "Kalnapilis-Tauro grupė" is again accused of beer trade in Kaliningrad: an investigation is being conducted against four partners.
