Mercedes is selling its procation in Russia according to Kommersant, on 26/10/2022 announced its intention to leave the Russian market. Mercedes-Benz has agreed on a buyback option for its Russian assets, the sale of which has now been granted official approval. Group of companies "Avtodom" announced the closing of the transaction on the acquisition of the Russian assets of Mercedes-Benz. At the same time, it was previously reported that Mercedes agreed with the new owner of assets in Russia on a repurchase option, which can be implemented, but on the condition that sanctions are lifted. Mercedes-Benz disconnected Russian dealers from the software. JSC "MB RUS" continues to sell Mercedes cars in Russia. Mini Mercedes G-Wagon goes on sale in Russia at the end of 2024.
