No official statement; online sales suspended but advertising continues. In 2022, Tom Tailor management also considered closing its business in Russia. The company's management was influenced by the fact that many German fashion companies, such as Adidas and Hugo Boss, began to announce their departure from the country. "It was a domino effect in a sense," says Sergey Kondakov. According to him, in 2022, Tom Tailor had to go into the shadows a little: the brand closed about 30 of its concept stores in Russia and suspended investments in promotion. However, by the end of 2023, all stores were reopened, and the retailer decided to continue working in the country.
